Preview from Naomi & Sumit’s Wedding

It was a beautiful fusion between Naomi and Sumit. The two cultures came together so beautiful and full of love. Sabrina Surie owner of Joie de Vivre Events  did an incredible job with all of those details of the wedding. Weddings InStyle did a stunning job on all of the events decore and design. From the unique Mandap to the beautiful centerpieces and lighting, everything was very unique and exquisite. Naomi and Sumit’s wedding was held at the beautiful Renaissance Hotel in Columbus Ohio. I wish both of you and your families many years of happiness.

Preview of Anita and Chintan’s Wedding

What a great 3 days of wedding events in Cleveland. The main events were held at the beautiful Executive Caterers at Landerhaven, what a beautiful venue. Anita and Chintan made such a beautiful couple. Their families were so amazing and the bridal party was a blast! The party just kept going on without a pause, thanks to Masala Entertainment. I wish them a beautiful life together.

Preview of Sabrina and Ken’s Youngstown Wedding

Sabrina and Ken’s Wedding was spectacular in every way. Sabrina being a wedding planner and owner at Joie de Vivre Events pulled out every stop to make her own wedding perfect in every detail. Their reception was held at the Youngstown Museum of Art. What a incredible venu to hold your reception. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your most special day!

Preview from Jignasha and Nakul’s Engagement Ceremony

What an honor it was to shoot Jignasha and Nakul’s Hindu Engagement Ceremony. I photographed their engagement photos a couple of months ago. Even the engagement is a big event in the Hindu religion. This was the beginning of many ceremonial events leading up to their wedding day. They are a beautiful couple and it’s has been great getting to know them throughout their engagement. I am looking forward to shooting their wedding in 2013!

Allison and Joe’s Engagement

I had a great time with Allison and Joe shooting their engagement photos at COSI. It’s a beautiful location on the river with our beautiful downtown in the background. It was great meeting Joe and getting to know both of them better during our shot. Their wedding will be held at Wedgewood Country Club next year. Very much looking forward to their wedding!

Preview of Lauren and Alex’s Wedding

I couldn’t ask for a better wedding in winding down this years wedding season! A beautiful couple, a beautiful day and a beautiful venue. Lauren and Alex’s wedding and reception was held at one of my favorite venues in Columbus the beautiful Franklin Park Conservatory.  Lauren looked beautiful! We started off at Penzones Grand Salon in Dublin, as always they did a fantastic job. The ceremony was held in the beautiful Palm House @FPC. The reception was a BLAST! Rob from Encore Entertainment kept the party going till the last song of the night. The flowers were just amazing! Robin and Anne from Flowers on Springtree Lane did an incredible job. Finally, I want to mention Jan Kish from La Petite Fleur. Her cakes are always amazing. Jan demonstrated the sabering of the Champaign bottle. Sabering is the French tradition of removing the cork from a bottle of champagne. This ritual dates back to Napoleon, when his soldiers used the reverse edge of their saber to break the neck of the bottle. Hence, the French expression “saber the bottle” came about illustrating the French belief that it is better to destroy the bottle than to do without champagne!
Lauren and Alex left the reception in dramatic fashion with sparklers going off all around them. To an awesome couple, I wish you guys many years of happiness and a fun filled life.

Preview of Neha and Marcus’s Wedding Photos

Another beautiful wedding I was blessed to be a part of. My relationship with Neha and Marcus got off to a great start when we met up in Chicago to shoot their engagement photos. It was on of my longest and most productive engagement shoots I think I’ve ever had. If you would like to see some of their photos, just look under the engagement label to find them. To say the least, they turned out fantastic! We had such a great time wandering the streets of Chicago, and even under a bridge or two. I couldn’t wait for their wedding to finally get here. Here are some of the images from their wedding. Their were so many to choose from, it made it hard to choose a handful of images. I started off with Neha at Cut Color Style hair salon where she had her make-up and hair done to perfection. Jess was with Marcus for the getting ready and his ceremonial shots. We all then met up at the beautiful Franklin Park Conservatory waiting for the start of the Baraat. It was a beautiful day for an outdoor ceremony at Franklin Park, 80 and not a cloud in the sky. After the ceremony we made a quick stop by one of my favorite allies here in Columbus. Then we headed to the State House for some more photos prior to headed to the hotel to get ready for the reception. The reception was fantastic! DJ Khan kept everyone dancing late into the night. I have to mention Prodigy Video, it’s always great to work with you. Best wishes to Neha and Marcus:)

Preview from Nakul and Jignasha’s Engagement Shoot

We all had a great time during our photo shoot the other day. We started off at the Creekside Center in Gahanna. After shooting there for a while we headed off to the Short North Area to walk around to find some new hidden spots to photograph in. I haven’t known them long but we really hit it off and had a lot of fun during the shoot. I’m really looking forward to shooting their Hindu Engagement ceremony in little over a month from now.

Video of Mital and Chirag’s Wedding

Sharlene and Reuben’s Cleveland/Columbus Wedding

What a fantastic wedding! This was my first Syrian Orthodox wedding to shoot. Their were so many traditions incorporated into every aspect of the day, from separate ceremonies prior to the couple leaving the hotel before to heading to the official ceremony.  Sharlene and Reuben were one of the sweetest couples I have ever photographed. After a small reception at the Cleveland Church we headed back to Columbus for the evening reception. The reception was held at the beautiful Hilton at Polaris. As you can see, the room was just incredible! The lighting and beautiful flowers were designed by Fresh French Florals. The stunning cake was furnished by the magnificent Jan Kish of La Petite Fleur. And finally, the event was planned flawlessly by Sabrina Suri of Joie de Vivre. I know Sharlene and Reuben will have many years of happiness.

Christine and Brad’s Beautiful Columbus Wedding @ M

What a beautiful day for an outdoor wedding at the beautiful Cameron Mitchell’s M. Christine was a very beautiful bride! We started of with her and her sisters getting ready at the Hyatt Regency with her hair and make-up. We then headed to M to get ready for their beautiful ceremony and reception. Everything went off perfect! From the decorations, the food and the drinks, it was the perfect reception. Christine and Brad are equally beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. It’s been an honor shooting their wedding and getting to know them.

Mital and Chirag’s Wedding Photos

What a great time we have have hade getting to know Mital and Chirag. They chose the incredible Schuster Center in Dayton Ohio to have their ceremony and reception. As you can tell by the first photo, it is one of the most beautiful theaters I have ever seen. As with most of the Hindu weddings that I photograph, they are long, but very rewarding to the soul. Hindu weddings are rich in traditions and symbolism. In my opinion, a Hindu ceremony should be a photographers dream wedding. Their’s so much to document throughout the day, all you have to do is to keep your eyes open and be ready for that next shot.

Nadera and Todd’s Beautiful Columbus Wedding

I have had a great time getting to know both Nadera and Todd sense we first met about a year ago. I started off photographing their engagement shoot a couple of months ago, had a blast and got some really great photos. I had the privilege of also photographing their rehearsal dinner at the always so awesome Hyde Park Restaurant. This was where Todd proposed to Nadera, nice touch! Their wedding day was spectacular! After the ceremony we made a quick stop at the Ohio State House before headed to their reception. Their reception was held at the Columbus Museum of Art. I have to mention their beautiful wedding cake, it was superb  thanks to Jan Kish @ La Patite Flure. I’m looking forward to designing their album for them, but so many great photos to choose from!

Sharlene & Reubin’s Engagement Shoot

It was a beautiful day to photograph a beautiful couple at the park. Sharlene and Reubin’s Syrian Orthodox wedding ceremony well be held in Cleveland in a couple of weeks and the reception will be at the Hilton at Polaris in Columbus Ohio. Their wedding is being planed by Sabrina Suri @ Joie de Vivre Events. When I asked Sharlene how everything was going with the wedding she replied, I couldn’t have done it without Sabrina. I wish Sharlene and Reubin many many years of happiness with each other 🙂

Nadera and Todd’s Engagement Session

I had a fantastic time yesterday with Nadera and Todd on their e-session. We started off at the Park of Roses then ended up walking around the Short North area. We then finished up the shoot at the Hyde Park restaurant where Todd asked Nadera to marry him. As you can tell by their photos, Nadera and Todd are full of love for each other. I’m very much looking forward to their wedding next weekend. Their reception will be held at the beautiful Columbus Museum of Art. I have the best couples in the world!

Neha and Marcus’s Chicago Engagement Shession

I can’t express what a great time we had with Neha and Marcus in Chicago last weekend! We woke up from a night of thunder that shook the hotel that we were staying, downpours were flooding many streets in the Downtown Chicago area. We wandered if we were going to be able to shoot that day with all of the bad weather we had had the night before. The skies cleared as we met to plan out our day for places to shoot. It seemed like we walked for miles and miles throughout the city that day. We stopped at the very place where Neha and Marcus first met to have a small bite to eat and to give us some added energy to keep us going for the rest of the day. At this point I can not go on without mentioning the fact that we got more Michigan shout-outs than the famous OH-IO shout-outs when we were parading around the streets in their respective uniforms. That just might be the only win Michigan will have this year over OSU! I hope they had as good of a time being photographed as I had photographing them. I couldn’t help but to put the last shot up that shows Neha climbing through the rusted-out rafters of an old bridge. Can’t wait for the excitement of their upcoming wedding later this year.

Amita and Amit’s Beautiful Hindu Wedding

We had a great time photographing Amita and Anik’s Hindu wedding last weekend. They are a fun and beautiful couple, so full of love for each. What a blast Jess and I had with them documenting all of the details of the main ceremony day. Amita and Anik are one of the most fun and outgoing couples I have ever photographed. It am very thankful to have been their photographer. I’m looking forward to building a great relationship with them.

Natalie and Todd’s Engagement Shoot

We had a great time yesterday at Natalie and Todd’s engagement session. The photos were taken at the beautiful Rising Park in Lancaster, Ohio. Todd actually  proposed to Natalie at the park at the top Mt. Pleasant. It seemed like it took forever for us to climb to the top! They are one of those couples that’s easy and fun to photograph, their wedding will be fabulous!
